SpendingSherpa is a real-life financial professional with a mission; help you work a budget that works for your life. If you want to to know how to manage your expenses and have money left over at the end of each month, SpendingSherpa will show you the way.
Most budgets fail due to unrealistic expectations, or the idea that a budget is too restrictive - so SpendingSherpa does the 'heavy lifting' for you. SpendingSherpa is not an application for your phone, or an automated service for your bank accounts.
SpendingSherpa helps you set your goals, shows you how to prioritise expenses, and empowers you financially each month. You are in full control and there are no lock-in contracts. When your budget is under control, you can cancel SpendingSherpa and start again later if needed.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Part coach, part therapist, part bookkeeper, SpendingSherpa works with you each month on the setup and management of your personal budget or spending plan. With video or phone calls, monthly reports and regular actionable insights, SpendingSherpa keeps you on track. You also get to keep the little luxuries that make life worth living!
Your Sherpa works with you to track your spending, allocate and prioritise expenses and importantly, maintain your lifestyle. This is how a budget should work, but most of us don't know how to work one, or it never feels like the right time to start. This is where a Sherpa for your money is really useful.
All that's required for setup is account integration with Xero Cashbook - a simplified version of the online accounting software designed for small business. Xero is a multi-award winning platform and a powerful tool for reporting and tracking. This way your Sherpa can view your transactions without ever touching your account.
To kick things off, your Sherpa will book a video call to get a handle on your concerns, goals and objectives. Then you'll have personal catch-ups each quarter to review your progress and make sure your kicking goals.
Remember, Life Sherpa® is a judgment-free zone, and a private supportive space. The purpose of these calls is to answer your questions, provide personal guidance and actionable insights to keep you moving forward.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
1. Make sure you're logged in to Life Sherpa®. It's free to get started and it takes just a minute to join.Signup or login now.
2. Select GET STARTED NOW and you will be directed to the checkout.
3. So your Sherpa can get to work, add your relevant accounts at MyFinancialLife. Your Sherpa needs the details under ABOUT ME, PROPERTY, HOME LOANS, and BANK ACCOUNTS.
4. With MyFinancialLife up to date, your Sherpa setups up your bank feeds in Xero.
5. An Authorisation is sent to your email via Xero so keep an eye on your inbox.
6. Sign and return as soon as you can - your Sherpa needs your signature to get started.
7. Now that your bank feeds are set up, your Sherpa will contact you on the number in your Profile.
8. Your first private coaching session and your budget is underway!
